REACH COMMUNITY GROUPS

Explore, Create, & Develop Relationships Through Our Six-Week Editions, Minis, & Specials

We are thrilled to announce the start of our REACH community groups to learn, share, create, explore, and develop relationships.

Our REACH Community Groups are designed to explore, create, and develop relationships through our six-week editions, minis, and specials. Individuals are able to select and sign up for groups of their interests and age level (example: cooking, music, art, etc.) These groups are offered in-clinic at both our North and West locations and have limited numbers. Watch our social media and website for openings as they come available!

What ages are the programs for?

Each program will vary based on the skills and type of program. We ask parents to read the required skills portion to make sure their child or loved one is appropriate for that particular edition.

What are the programs fees for?

Each edition will have a supply fee depending on the program and activities. We work hard to keep this cost low for all families. Example fees are cost of food, supplies, crafts, etc. Program fees are due at the first session.

Do I have to sign up for the entire 6 weeks in an edition?

Yes, our editions are 6 weeks in length and are not able to be broken down weekly. Our minis are 3 weeks in length and are not able to be broken down weekly. Our specials provide flexibility for families that cannot commit to the full 3 or 6 weeks.

How is the program funded?

Waiver services are used for each edition and the particular category of service will be finalized once registration is confirmed. Categories are music therapy, recreational therapy, day habilitation (1:4 ratio). We do have up to two private pay spots per edition as well.

How many people can participate per edition?

At this time our ratio is broken down to one therapist, one assistant or DSP and 6 consumers. Generally 2 adults/instructors to 6 consumers (2:6 ratio). The programs do not allow for 1:1 ratio at this time.

How do I register?

Please visit the course location homepage (West or North) to see the current editions being offered. On this page you will be able to see the safety and success requirements, age requirements, and edition details. You will also be able to find a registration link on this page if there are any current openings.

How do you decide who gets accepted for a particular edition?

Our team reviews all registrations for each edition. We strive to select individuals that have like abilities and would work well together for each edition. For example, if we have all young adults register for a cooking class and a 6 year old, we will hold the 6 year old for the following session that might include more younger participants.

How often will you have new editions?

Our editions are typically six weeks long and we will update our social media and website when a new session is available for registration.

What is the difference between an edition, mini, and special?

An edition is a 6 week course that builds on the weekly content. A mini is a 3 week course that builds on weekly content but is not as long as an edition. A special is a one night event!
